Sarah is a teacher. She lives in a flat in Washington. Her husband Tom is a journalist. They have two children. She gets up every morning at 6.15 and has breakfast. She leaves home at 7 o’clock. She starts work at 8. She finishes work at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. After work she goes shopping with her friends or she goes swimming. In the evening she listens to music, watches TV or sees friends. She writes a letter before she goes to bed.

Her husband Tom gets up at 10. He leaves home at 10.45. He starts work at 11.15. He has lunch at 2 o’clock. He finishes work at 7 o’clock in the evening. After work he sees his friends and watches football and then he goes home. He has dinner at 9 o’clock in the evening. After dinner he goes for a walk with his wife. They go to bed at 11.30 in the evening.
