The English people like dressing up smartly. In England there are many fashionable shops where you can buy clothes of good quality and design. Spring, summer, autumn, winter: every season there are new clothes and new fashions in the shops. Colours and styles keep changing. One season black is the "in" colour, but the next season everyone is wearing orange or pink or grey. One season tight-fitting clothes are fashionable, and the next season baggy clothes are "in". I decided to visit some of the boutiques and check this season's trends.

Jenny's is a true paradise for teenagers and those who feel like that. Teenagers enjoy buying jeans and short blouses here. If you like fancy things, then you will be astonished by modern shiny sandals with high heels. Girls simply love wearing these sandals in the summer. I mustn't forget to mention skirts. As you all know, the length of women's skirts goes up and down from year to year. In the 1960s, mini skirts became very fashionable and a woman could wear skirts twenty or thirty centimetres above the knee. A few years later, maxi skirts became trendy and then everyone started wearing skirts twenty or thirty below the knee. Each season there is always a "correct" length and if your skirt is just a little too long or too short, some people will think that you are very unfashionable. Today, mini is back! All colours are popular, black and white, leopard pattern, denim skirts... Girls, don't be shy and show your legs.

If you want to dress in sport style don't pass by Sportfans without visiting them. Helpful shop assistants will give you the latest tips on how to keep casually elegant, if that's your aim, of course. You will surely learn to match sport trousers with colourful shirts and add pink sneakers on top of everything!

Walking down the Mulligan Street I decided to see what are the latest trends in jewellery. Naturally, gold is never a wrong choice but there are also cute glittering earrings in colours like blue, beige or silver. You can match them with necklaces and bracelets in the same colour.

However, my favourites are definitely leather stuff. Leather skirt painted in turquoise, crimson leather boots and inevitable leather bags are a perfect combination for confident and defiant women.

And what about men? Well, their clothing situation usually gets simpler. Dear men, stick to cotton and denim and you will look more attractive than ever.

Obviously, keeping up with fashion can be very expensive. So, one way to save money is never to throw your clothes out. Be patient and hope to see clothes that are out of fashion today, back in fashion tomorrow. Yesterday's clothes are tomorrow’s new fashions. All top world designers say that.
