John: What do you usually do on your birthday?

Ana: I usually invite my friends to a bar for a drink after work. We usually have a cup of coffee or a drink and then we go home.

John: Who do you usually spend your birthday with?

Ana: I always invite my best friend Marta. She’s a very good person. My mother, father and brother always come. My husband often calls his friends from work. That’s very nice.

John:  You have four children! What do they usually do when they have a birthday party?

Ana: They have a party at home, not in a restaurant. Their friends bring presents, they dance, listen to music, play games or just sit in the garden, they sometimes watch movies and then they have something to eat and drink.

John: Do you sometimes have a birthday party in a restaurant?

Ana: Yes, we do, but it is very expensive.

JohnWhich birthdays are always special?

Ana: The eighteenth birthday is very important! Everybody comes with presents, they sing, dance…

John: When is your birthday?

Ana: I never talk about that.

John: Ok. Does your husband usually have a birthday party?

Ana: Yes, he does. He likes parties. He invites all his friends, they dance, eat, drink, play the guitar, swim in the pool…

John: And, what do you do then?

Ana: I do the same!

John: Thank you Ana, bye.

Ana: Bye.
